Camp Search - Privacy
What information does CampSearch acquire from my camp?
In order to provide the best service to our end user, CampSearch collects information about camps that includes: geographic location and camper requirements. Camp requirements refers to the actual components of the camp, including the cost, on a per week basis to send the camper to camp.
In addition to camp information we always ask for the name of a camp director, and contact information. Contact information includes a web site address and Email address.
What information does CampSearch take from me personally?
The only time we ask for personal information is in a contest or sweepstakes situation. This information is discarded once the contest timelines transpire.
What are cookies and how does CampSearch use them?
At this point CampSearch is not utilizing cookie technology. We will inform you if this changes.
How does CampSearch use information?
Our primary goal is to provide our end user with the most functional and focussed information about your camp and / or outdoor program.
On an advertising level, sponsors inform us of what type of audience they wish to reach, and we facilitate that process by tracking requests and searches. For example: a sponsor may wish to target residential camps only, and therefore, you may see banner advertisements within residential Camp sections of the search.
We are now in the process of upgrading our advertising engines to better serve our sponsors, and to better target our audience.
If you have added your camp to CampSearch you may, from time to time, receive informative Emails from us describing updates at CampSearch. If you would like to be removed from this list do not hesitate to contact our office via Email info@campsearch.com
